I love this series, but seeing other people's reviews about how things turned out at the end of this book, I'm not sure if I want to read this book anymore. I want to preserve the memory of a bad ass Four and a very lively Tris in my mind. So yeah, thanks but no thanks, Roth.
I thought nothing could top the disappointment that is Requiem but alas, looks like Allegiant made it on the top of the "Most Disappointing Dystopian Finales" ever written.

I really don't know where to start with this review.
This series has been a roller-coaster of hating then loving then hating again. It's a very unique series and well written, I just didn't LOVE it.
Basically this book was not as good as the other books. It was so boring! The two first books were so fast paced and exciting and every single second something was happening. I couldn’t stop reading. With this book I had to kind of force myself to read it because it was SO. SLOW. There was a lot of wor ...more

One of the things I am always wary of is finishing a series as I wonder do I really want to finish it as will I be disappointed with the results or will I be happy with the way it concludes ? What amazes me though with the power of the internet is how people can go about their daily lives and bash authors in the process about their books because something didn't set right with them. Allegiant was one of those books that was bashed , so I made a point of not reading any reviews about it and from

I'm feeling sad about this book, like why couldn't it be extreme pain, instead of the ultimate end? I know Tobias thinks the whole burning flame thing, but yeah, this book just kinda makes me sad. I enjoyed the department thing, and the statue they have, and genetically healed and damaged, and the, well, stupid idea that genes have something to do with behavior. Yeah, to a certain point, but there is choice and free will. And wasn't the whole point of the first changes to get rid of the violence

I feel like what I have become is halfway between my mother and my father, violent and impulsive and desperate and afraid. I feel like I have lost control of what I have become.
*I'm going to give you fair warning before you start this - SPOILERS WILL BE CLEARLY MARKED.

The ending was spoiled for me, sadly, but even knowing what happened didn't keep me from crying when it did. This book broke my heart, yes, but in the best possible way. I actually wish this series had been a duology because Divergent blew me away, Insurgent let me down, but Allegiant was better than I hoped for despite everything. I'm very glad I started this series, and even happier that I finished it. ...more

Welp. I guess that's it. I can't say I agree with the ending. And I wish things were more exciting in the first two thirds. I'm kind of at a loss for words.

I... just... no words... Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

All right, so after waiting five months for this book to be published it was finally here, and on the 22nd my friends and I came to school early to get our copies of Allegiant. Needless to say I couldn't wait to open it and dive into the world of dystopian Chicago.
Tris is a fantastic character who is strong and takes challenges on for herself for the sakes of those she loves. She'll speak her mind, and she definitely isn't afraid of giving someone the cold shoulder, while Tobias is one of those ...more

Okay..this is tough. I love this trilogy so much, and what Veronica Roth did..well most authors don't do that..ever. I mean, she took the Dauntless motto "Be Brave" and ran with it! That being said, I can accept the ending. It was well written, as all her books are, and nothing rash happens as a result. I love all of the characters and their continued attempts at redemption and finding themselves. I will look forward to more books from her in the future :)

Still. Untitled. Veronica Roth why must you torture me so? I am a patient soul but but even patient people have their limits. Please throw a dog a bone and title it. I'm begging...
