Oh man. This book was so delightful and yet tragic. I knew it was an origin story, and yet the author got me attached anyway and I was in complete denial that the plot could where I knew it was meant to end up. I was rooting against fate right along with Cath. The elements of Wonderland were absolutely whimsical and charming to the very end. I loved the additional insight to who the characters were before Alice stumbled across them. It was perfectly, heartbreakingly, wonderful.
I loved, hated, loved this book. That makes for a very good book. I'm not going to go into details about the book in this review because I really don't want to spoil anything at all. The book is so good you just need to get in there and read it for yourself. This review will instead touch on the basics and be a bit gushy.

This book was AMAZING. The whole book was sooooo good... up until the end :(
So the part that made me so sad was when she was about to get married to the king and her parents asked her
¨Are you sure this is what you want? We only want you to be happy.¨
And then she says
¨How different everything could have been if you had asked me that at the beginning¨
And then I lost it guys poor cath :(
I was also very mad at the parents
And at CATH OMG
Ok so I hated when Jest died like WHAT WAS CATH EVEN THINKING ...more
