to put it in the words of Dashner himself i can't really say it better than i did for book 1. while this book still holds the promise and intrigue that book 1 had i found that i failed to improve the story much from the end of book 1 at least for me. the introduction of group B was interesting but was for the most part ignored. unlike book 1 i found that this sequel dragged and it was a struggle to convince myself to get to the end. however once i got there i was promised answers and having come

This was a really good second edition to the trilogy. It was interesting and suspenseful with all those cliffhangers. The characters were great too, old and new. It was kinda sad and gory because of all of those details about the deaths and Thomas was tortured a lot by a lot of people. It was kind of sad to see him hurt a lot.
