It is extremely difficult to review a magnum opus such as this collection of Zelazny's ten volume Amber series. The world is impeccably portrayed, any concerns you may have seen from individual reviews of individual books therein are absolved when you run them all together. It is no short or easy read, but it is worth it. A decade on, this huge (and now fairly frayed looking) book is still a standby by sci-fi favorite.
