What Members Thought

I'm sorry...I made a valiant effort, but I couldn't get past the first 50 pages. All that "Promise me you'll never leave me" and "Do you love me as much as I love you?" and "I can't bear the thought of you not loving me" crap.
Seriously, can the teenage girls in these books get a spine already? Someday, I'd like to read about a strong-willed, butt-kicking heroine instead of some bratty girl who whines about her paranormal boyfriend all the time.
And the angel dude's name is Patch. What the heck ...more

To me Hush, Hush didn't need a sequel. It seemed to have an ending that was pretty good to me, so I was like "Wait. There's a sequel? Why?" I absolutely loved Hush, Hush, but I don't see how it can have another book. I really don't. But because I did love the first book I'm going to read this, hoping it isn't a waste of time and space in my life. *crossing fingers for something worthwhile*

I think the thing I liked most about this, was how jealous Nora got. It was completely realistic and made you relate easier with the charachters because they were not perfect. I can't blame her for her reaction, or the pain she felt when she came to it.
It made me think back to the days when I was faced with the similar problem she went through in this book. I am not going to say what it is and give it away, but all the while I was reading it, I looked up every now and then and told my friend. "O ...more

Crescendo was a good read however I did enjoy hush, hush a little better. I think part of the reason was that it had been a while since I read the first book in this series. Fitzpatrick does deliver a tale full of twists and turns as well as revealing some startling secrets. The book begins with Nora and Patch in a happy place but that soon changes when Patch begins hanging out with Marcie, Nora's worst enemy from school. Nora is not alone for long because Scott, an old childhood friend, comes b

Was kind've dissappointed with how this book went compared to the first. The main character came off needy finicky and somewhat stalkerish but it did get better as it progressed. Also, there were many things left unexplained, but considering the book left off on a cliff hanger (grrr) all will be well in Silence.

Ending was interesting but most of the book felt like whiny Bella and I was bored.

It took me a few months to get into it... and it was soooooo dragged out and at a lot of times quite confusing, cos it has been a few years when I read part one... But it got really good at the end, that's why only 3 Stars. AND also in the beginning I was very annoyed with Nora, I mean she tells him she loves him and just cos he didn't say it back straight away she breaks up with him, how dumb is that???
