I’d originally intended to read this in October, because I thought it’d be a good ~spooky~ book for the season, and something to cruise through for the rough month. Unfortunately, me and everyone else and their mom had this plan because it had a long line for holds at the library, and I didn’t get it until November, after putting in a request in late August. I could not put this book down! I had been seeing this book everywhere on Bookstagram and luckily, my IRL book club picked it for the September read! I thought it was just the right amount of creepiness, without being too overboard with the supernatural. I don't usually try to figure out the whodunit aspect of a book, but with this one, once we knew where the story was going, I was desperately trying to figure it out!
