I think if I had read a physical copy of this book it would have been 4 stars. But, the audiobook presentation is 5 stars, no doubt! The full cast experience as though it all really happened was riveting. I was reminded of VH1 Behind the Music.

Another thing I was reminded of was A Star Is Born. The chemistry between the characters and the battles against self destruction are strong themes in both. If you are a fan of that movie, I think you will find a lot to enjoy here.

This was a great book that totally lived up to its hype! It is unique in that it is written as a series of interviews with the band members years later. I loved the ending!

It's really a romance but I liked. It's not cliche and talks a lot about music in a sense that Music means a lot to some people. Means everything. I really liked.

It wasn’t like that at all. In the beginning Daisy Jones is just excited to spend her time at Whiskey-a-go-go and hanging out with some ...more

An absolutely delicious summer read. Ms. Jenkins Reid uses a unique format for telling a coming-of-age story that is both consuming and compelling. She captures the recklessness and the sublime of characters from self indulgent generation as they struggle to discover who they really are. Loved every page of it.

Sex, drugs and rock and roll, go together like peanut butter and jelly. Daisy Jones & The Six had all three.
There is something about that era of rock in the 70's that fascinates me. These characters felt so real. A few weren't needed in my opinion. They just didn't advance or add to the story.
Daisy Jones and Billy Dunn were the real stars of this book. I could have only heard their stories and been ok. It seemed like they were the sun and everyone was just happy to be in their orbit. I still f ...more
