Haunting, excellent

Wingate takes the raw materials of real-life tragedy and weaves a compelling story of triumph. Beautiful prose captures the voices of generations. Lovely.

Another lovely dual timeline story by Lisa Wingate! The sad history of the adoption scam is horrifying but the sweet characters shine through. This story will stay with you.
