This was one of my first Angel theme books and I must say it did not disappoint!! I am soo in love with Raphael.
The ending just had me saying WOW and for once in a very looong time I cried over the last scene i could not believe what I was reading and yet I was. lol
It took me for a joy ride that I must say I need again. I think I am like one of the vamp/angel groupies. I need more of this tale!!!

4.5 stars. Great story. Interesting characters. Can't wait to see what's in store for the next book. Paranormal adult romance.

pretty good book but i have to admit i liked the side characters Dmitri and Illium a heck of a lot more than the lead male role, Raphael. i appreciated that there was some humor and violence in the novel. it was developed well and made me want to read following novels in the series. i'm really hoping there will be a book about Illium and Dmitri (eventhough he's a vamp).
