I absolutely LOVED this one and I am so glad I read it! It was quick, cute,and I couldn't help but to equate it to The Bachelor. LOL

Normally I'm not into "princess" books, but this one was an exception. America is born into a caste system and she is a Five, which is among the poor members of Illea. Well, since we won't betting any new seasons of The Bachelor anytime soon (thanks coronavirus), I needed some competitive dating content to fill the void.

I wish it had gone to darker places, and the world building leaves a lot to be desired (wait so why is there a caste system?) The country names are, uhh, confusing (Honduraga! Swendway!), as are the people names (Gerad! Bariel! Prince Maxon! AMERICA SINGER!).
