What can I say about one of my favorite books of all time? That it's funny? Yes, you will literally laugh out loud. That it's boring? At times. Your eyes will glaze over at least once listening to Bateman drone on about who's wearing what designer. That it's horrific? Absolutely. You will be violated on this ride.

It is the first book of this kind that I have read that has been written in the first person and I wonder if this is the reason I found the descriptions of the murders quite graphic and shocking. I can understand why previous reviews say the descriptions of clothing were tedious, but I guess it is a kind of OCD type thing that the character suffers from. I also felt the ending was a bit weird.
