I don't know why I took so long to read this one! I mean, I shelved it on April 21, 2012, so it only took me a little over 8 years! LOL Wow!
This was an unusual read for me in quite a few ways. The idea of love being a disease (interesting, hmm) and that when one turns 18 they must have an operation to get "The Cure" was a new idea to me.

Have you ever pictured a life without love?! Well, you don't have to think about it anymore. Just go ahead and read Delirium, because this is what it is: a population living without love. I really liked this one. It was well paced and had an interesting story line. The characters were believable. It was set in the future, and seems to be a warning about believing everything we are told. It is based on a very interesting premise!

Going into this story, I thought the concept was brilliant and highly original and I was so excited too read it. Overall I liked this book, but wasn't blown away by it. Hana is such a cool character and although Lena is a bit of a wet blanket at first, she develops nicely.
