I'm going to start with a disclaimer - I didn't want to read Delirium. Why? A variety of reasons, but mostly because I'd heard there's a BIG cliffhanger at the end. I hate cliffhangers with a passion. And the idea of the story sounded so good, that I was scared I wouldn't enjoy it and I hate being disappointed! But when I won a copy of the book it stared at me from the table beside my sofa for weeks, taunting me. So with my cynical eye wide open, I started reading.....

Gostei bastante, correspondeu às expectativas.
Adorei a premissa de o amor ser considerado uma doença. 'Anulando' esse sentimento, seriam anuladas todos os crimes de ódio, inveja e afins. Original :)
gostei bastante das personagens, o que não é muito frequente para mim em livros YA. Temos uma personagem feminina que não é uma 'revolucionária' de inicio - como Katniss (HG), Tris (Divergente) ou até Hana (do mesmo livro), mas alguém que vai sendo moldado ao longo da história, e achei bastante intere ...more

I liked this: young adult, romance, dystopia, more Atwood-esque forced matches and evaluations, combined with the ignorance one feels you're kept in as a teen, and having no ability to make your own decisions.
