This book is fast, fun and exciting. I spent 50% of this book like a kid on a rollercoster - screaming my head off and waving my hands about with delight, saying to myself "ha! Take that !!" And "jump! Jump! Go on! " and "humm.. I think I'll make Four look like 90"s heyday Christian slater!" (Bonus)

Still couldn't complete with the hunger games for me though! Shame I read it first.

The world that Veronica Roth sets up is fascinating and well plotted. The rules and the reasoning behind the rules, not to mention the shadowy puppet masters that enforce the laws of the land peak your interest and make for an engaging story. The story is fast-paced and Roth doesn't seem to be afraid to create raw, complex characters complete with imperfections.

The laundry had to wait, the kids had take-out and I barely left my room for 2 days! This ingenious plot held me captive and I loved it!
