My favorite part is near the beginning (when it is just opening to us) telling of Jonathan Harker's journey to Transylvania when he first meets Count Dracula and his stay in his castle. This is the meat and potatoes of the story. As I said before, the imagery is just breathtaking at this juncture of the novel. A must read

I loved it! It was creepy and suspenseful without being full of gore and guts. I'm glad I took the time to read this old classic.

This book is a must read. I don't like how he paints women as two dimensional sex sex sex wanting beings. But other than that it was very well written and enlightening. Basically the whole vampire thing is a metaphor of English society. I thought the ending could have been a little better. They hunt for months (and i read hundreds of pages) for it all to end in half a page with little drama.
