Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption
I've read this novella more than once because I have it in another book. I'm not sure if there's anything I can say about it (and the fantastic movie) that hasn't already been said, but I will say this; Andy Dufresne is one of my favorite characters in fiction. His story, while brief, is a great one. His persistence is remarkable and the ending is happy and satisfying.

Short stories. So far I have read the first story and it is the story that The Shawshank Redemption movie was based on. The movie did the story some great justice. Didn't stray to much from the story, but the movie does make the story so much more interesting the way it is narrated and some of the things are moved around a bit, but for the most part it doesn't stray to much.
