A delightful read
I really quite enjoyed these stories and wasn't sure I would. I have childhood memories of a very stodgy Basil Rathbone playing Sherlock Holmes which I didn't like at all. I think it helped that I recently saw the Robert Downey Jr. portrayal of SH, so could imagine him in a more contemporary light.
