I haven't read many Seuss books, but we watched The Lorax in my History of US Consumerism class, and I thought the video was very cute.
Moral: Save the Earth, don't destroy it.

This book, along with the movies of Hayao Miyazaki, first taught me that environmentalism was a thing.
Am I just kind of lame, or does anyone else cry when they read this book?
