I wept and I air-punched the demons on behalf of Chanel, women and all humans. This book simultaneously made me livid at how evil, complicit, heartless some people are, while simultaneously reminding me that for every such person there are dozens of kind, gentle, relentless and caring people. Life, for better or for worse, makes us encounter people from both camps. This book broke my heart and made me hopeful.
