DNF. Important topic but TMI about his childhood, etc.
I was not expecting a love story. Sweet, scary, sad and informative. A lot of familiarity with my own connection to tech in my younger days. It was a great trip down memory lane.
Government being dicks about privacy..well, not shocker but the level of impunity was infuriating.
I'm glad I took the time to read (hear) this. Well rounded story.

Damn, as a public servant it is so clear to me how public institutions failed this man. He is owed an apology from his country and I am looking forward to the day he is able to return home. Thoroughly recommend this memoir.
