I really wanted to like this book. I couldn't wait for it to come out. But when it did, it had lost most of the emotion and excitement of its precursors in favor of political commentary and dry descriptives. Very interesting to learn more about Tris' mom and where she came from. Roth did a fantastic job of turning the characters personalities around, but allowed Tris to remain a focal point. If people are looking for the really big bang that usually comes with trilogies, this one has a very realistic ending, which was very well done. Don't want to spoil it for anyone so I guess you will just have to read it.

Wow what a way to end the series. I wanted to give it only 4 stars because there were parts of the ending that I didn't want to read. But I love the fight, until the very end. The resolution is good but ugh I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to cry after reading it.
