Holy. Heck.
Dashner sure knows how to keep you at the edge of your seat, and end a book leaving you begging for more.
This book was filled with so much creativity and suspense that it was difficult to put down. This book had way more twists to it than the first. I had no idea who was good, who was bad...and now that the book has ended-I still don't!

Definitely a cliff hanger.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the first book but still found the mystery part to be really engaging. This one, I liked even lesser than the first one. Too much going on without a lot of explaination. Kind of predictable. And not as "tight" as the fist book.

I _am_ going to read the last book, mostly because I already own it and I want to finish off the series, but I don't think I'll be picking up the companion/prequel(?) book.

I am so glad I went back and read this a second time before starting The Death Cure. There was so much I had forgotten and I think I ended up enjoying it more the second time around.

The poor Gladers to think they are rescued and to find out it's a trick and there are new challenges to hurtle for WICKED. I think I would definitely want to take out the whole team of WICKED if I were the Gladers. How much can they endure. I don't care if they are trying to find a cure it's just inhuman! As you can

This was pretty good as a follow up to The Maze Runner, but some of the stuff they were doing just seemed strange. I feel that some of it didn't add to the whole big story. And a lot of time I was just confused. BUt it was action packed and I'm sure I'll pick up the third one soon to finish out the series. ...more

I think there is a thin line between "action-packed" and "monotonously filled with perilous & unrealistic situations." This book skates really close to that line. ...more
