I avoided this book for a while, despite most people saying how incredible it was, some of my goodreads friends said it was slow and boring, which is how I generally feel about contemporary. If something isn't blowing up, or getting murdered, or aliens aren't invading, then count me out.

This is how I GENERALLY feel.

I'm so bummed. I've heard such great things about this story and how sweet and awesome it is. But really? How many "F" bombs were dropped in the first couple of pages? No thank you. If there's good things to come they were totally ruined by the first chapter. ...more
