Actually enjoyed this YA paranormal. Planning to read the next book.
This book had many opportunities to be great but it just fell flat in the end. It was like there was all this build up and then it just seemed to end on a note that basically ensured there would be sequel and not one that I am really anticipating reading that much. I liked the characters and that it was told from Ethan's perspective. I would love to see the movie and how it translates. Maybe it will be better.

It was so different to read a paranormal romance from a BOY point of view. How come no one's ever done that before? Well different is good, definitely very good. Refreshing. But still a little on the slow paced side.

I wanted to read this book before the movie came out. And while I did enjoy the book, I think it made me appreciate the movie more. It was a fun read, and left me wanting more.
