I enjoyed the first book in this series but I think this one was much better! Rare for a 2nd book in a trilogy, I think, but this one packed more action, adventure and plot. I love Jacob and how he's dealing with all the time loops, peculiar kids, falling in love and running from the White. I keep picturing a kid Indiana Jones running from Nazis. I really enjoyed this book! It's definitely a middle book in a series as it does end on a cliff hanger, but it doesn't feel like filler. We learn so much more about the peculiar children, plus peculiar adults and even peculiar animals! I loved hearing the stories from the Tales Of The Peculiar and i cannot wait to get my hands on the physical book. Just a very brief review for now. yayyyy I finished and it was so darn good. So excited to start the next one tonight as I'm afraid I may not be able to wait until tomorrow. I highly recommend this series. It's the best since I read the likes of Harry Potter, twilight , The Wolves of Mercy Falls & Divergent.
