I think this is me being nice in that this book did show some promise but I barely made it through. I am not sure what is wrong with it but it was a book that I could not read a full sentence without taking a step back and having to reread. Why? I am not sure. I read the first one with much patience and confusion too! I just don't think I can do with his writing, if that even makes any sense. Again, it's been forever since I read this book so I don't remember much. There was more description in this book than in Eragon, which isn't good. It seems like the longer this series lasts, the more description Paolini adds.
