What Members Thought
I went into this with very moderate expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. I flew through this book. It kept me engaged all the way through. I read this basically back to back with The Wolf and the Woodsman, so I couldn't help compare them. They are both folklorey and woodsy with magic tied to blood and pain. It kinda lost me about two-thirds into the book. Couldn't really care about the ending. Unsure if I'll continue with the series.
