A classic that will be loved by both children and adults alike. Looking forward to reading the rest in the series.
I vaguely remember reading this at age 12 or so and liking it very much, but not enough to be waiting feverishly for the sequel. All these years later I've decided to finally jump into this universe again and should have done so much, much earlier. Would love a time machine to go back to my 12 year old self and read it again, this time going for the whole series.
As for reading it now, it's still very charming, cute, and imaginative. The pacing is brisk with page-turning readability. I still app ...more
