FAVORITE BEYOND BELIEF. Beautiful. Review to come.

It took me two readings to get into this book. I had gotten to about 15% before and quit. I picked it up again and restarted it. I liked it but was really ticked about discovering the glossary at the END of the book. I really really really could have used that at the beginning. And, because I read on my Kindle and chapters are named (not just numbered), I didn't want to spoil myself by looking at the end of the book. I liked this book, but at the same time it didn't completely grab my attention and it took me a while to really get into the story. I felt frustrated by the length of time it took the author to get to the mystery behind the king. But then once we were there I was invested in the characters and I liked the direction the story took after that point. I didn't realize this book is the first in a series when I read it.
