Libro molto sopravvalutato. Stile ineccepibile, ma storia troppo inverosimile. Non che questo sia necessariamente un difetto, ma in questo trovo di sì. C'è talmente disparità tra lo stile e il contenuto (nel senso di trama), che non è riuscito a convincermi del tutto. La teoria proposta (quella della supremazia dell'olfatto sugli altri sensi) ha una sua logica espressa peraltro in modo cristallino, ma il risultato è una storia talmente assurda che, a mio avviso, non viene resa giustizia alle ind ...more

E anche se sapeva che avrebbe dovuto pagare un prezzo terribilmente alto per il possesso di questo profumo e la sua perdita,tuttavia il possesso e la perdita gli sembravano più degni d'esser desiderati che non la secca rinuncia a entrambi.Poiché sempre aveva rinunciato a qualcosa.Ma mai aveva posseduto e perso qualcosa. ...more

I don't have the slightest clue what I was expecting.

I had heard here and there how morbidly touching the book was, how the story evolved and managed to pique a wide range of peoples interest. I am very glad I decided to read, it was beautifully sad. ...more

Si han visto la película, saben de que va.
Es la historia de Grenouille, que tiene un excelente olfato y descubre que le fascinan los olores. El libro narra desde su nacimiento hasta su muerte y debo decir que me ha hecho reír mucho. A pesar de no ser un tema alegre, tiene un estilo narrativo muy divertido y te la pasas genial leyéndolo.
El libro me gustó mucho más que la película, aunque admito que la película es bastante fiel al libro, lo cual s muy raro xD

Shelves: mitteleuropa, 1900, 1-autori, 3-europa, narrativa, 2-romanzi

È un romanzo particolarissimo, riesce ad esercitare al contempo fascino e repulsione. Restituisce un quadro accurato del degrado della società francese settecentesca. Molto incisiva la metafora sulla necessità di ciascun individuo di autoaffermarsi, e poi Grenouille è indimenticabile.
