What Members Thought
Five stars to the work itself, three stars to Stanley Mitchell's translation. It seems that it's favoured as a good balance between poetry and accurate translation, being more accurate than Falen's but still maintaining the difficult rhyme and meter. I.e. it is quite accurate without descending into the unreadable nitpicking of Nabakov's translation. Yet for this accuracy I think it sacrifices quite a lot of poetry.
