Amazing book! This has great characters and a twisty plot that keeps you guessing at what will happen next and trying to figure out who are the "good" guys and who are the "bad" guys! The author has a wonderful way with words and his descriptions make everything so vivid. I definitely recommend this book and can't wait to read the next in the series!

Another beautiful, dark mystery. He writes like a dream. I love his style and am looking forward to more.
After loving Shadow of the Wind, I was very disappointed in this book. I just hope the next thing I pick up by Carlos restores my faith.
