Don't get me wrong, it was a very good story. I mean, honestly, this is the beginning f the vampire era (I'm not sure whether to respect that or despise Stoker for it; either way, better than Twilight, right?) But I didn't like the structure of the book. It was set up to be read as a series of letters and journal entries, and I found that very ineffectual in bringing out the mood that I felt a story of this genre should convey, and the large range of viewpoints in the aforementioned entries made

Mother Of All Vampire Stories
An excellent story! Love the way it's written. Reading about the plot through a first person view-point gives the book a thrilling suspense that would have been difficult to achieve otherwise.
But the ending... won't write any spoilers, but I expected it to be a firework ending and I simply got a sparkler.
