ok book not great and certainly not half as good as Hunger Games. My daughter recommended this book after she read Hunger Games which was my recommendation. This story dragged--no involvement with the characters. Don't think I'll read any of the sequels.

Was intrigued by the idea of the story- was hoping for a fast paced read like Hunger Games. It started slow, and I almost gave up on it- but just in the nick of time it hooked me. Look forward to reading the second book sometime soon.
