The book is about a young boy Christopher, the narrator, who has Asperger's Syndrome. Christopher sets out to investigate and prove who killed his neighbor's dog. Along the way, Christopher realizes that, despite his condition, he can do anything.

This was such a unique read. Christopher, a teenager with autism, sets out to solve the mystery of a dead dog and ends up uncovering way more than he expected. His perspective is funny, honest, and sometimes heartbreaking. The story is quirky and smart, with a great mix of mystery and emotion. A few parts felt a little slow, but overall it’s a thoughtful and memorable book.
Was prepared to dislike this book. It just didn't grab me from the cover blurb. I was so wrong! I listened to this one on my ipod, and I know the people passing me in their cars wondered what was up with the "crazy lady laughing her head off". I think I may be a little autistic myself, because some of what Christopher said made perfect sense to me.
