This book is not as scary as it sounds. It started out in Romania, when Jonathan Harker went to Castle Dracula to finish paperwork on the sale of a mansion in London. Count Dracula welcomed him and then some weird stuff started happening. Let's just say it was not a happy visit for Jonathan! Dracula's intent was to go live in London, to find more fine people to feed on.

This is my first journey into the 'horror' genre. Definitely outside my personal norm. I wasn't sure if I would like it because I hate horror movies. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually enjoyed reading it. It was a unique combination for me to have the creepiness of the story, in the Victorian language that I find so beautiful.
