Shelves: fiction, female-authors, drama

I found this story fascinating. I liked hearing about the history and sideline stories of the circus. the love story was pretty cool too. this was a good reminder of how folks will befriend each other. and I loved the elephant. I will definitely re-read this some day.

I loved this book, though I must say that there were some pretty awful characters in. the book. The book was an emotional roller coaster for me. I've never been to a circus, so some of the lingo didn't make a lot of sense. I loved how the main character turned misfortune to fortune. ...more
