A very unique book. Having heard the title I had no idea what it could be about, but I found it to be a difficult book to put down. What starts out with the death of a neighbor dog delves into the life of a family with a child with special needs. Christopher's Aspergers affects his family greatly, and the story told from his perspective sheds light on the thinking processes of people with Aspergers. Highly recommended to anyone, but particularly those who interact with special needs people. ...more

I read this book in less than two days and while it was a fast read, I found myself bored often. I was hoping for a mystery and it was clearly NOT a mystery at all. Christopher made me edgy after awhile and I will agree it was a clever POV, but it left me seriously anxious for it to be over!!!

Interesting but a very different read. Not my usual type of read.
