Sarah. You can not use existing words and give them a new meaning just because it happens to suit you. You have quite a lot of influence among young fantasy readers, and I fear that I will be hearing a lot of people talking about Vanir as if it was a synonym to sidhe, and other words you have used. It seems to me that you didn't even bother checking if the words already existed and had a meaning.

And the names... *sigh*

And the complete mess of mythologies and cultures and... eh.

Ummm...WHAT?

This book was beautiful and a chunker. Fantasy is not really a genre of choice for me, but I saw this on a recommendation list and I thought why not give it try. It sounded interesting, and I actually couldn't wait to read it.

It took a few pages to get all the characters straight because it felt like a lot of information coming in hot. Once I settled, the story bloomed off the pages. I didn't struggle with the writing style, and it didn't take me too long to devour this book. I laug

I only gave 3 because the first 300 pages were dismally boring. However when it picked up it was true Sarah J. Maas. Its taken me 6 months to read and the 2nd half I have done on last 2 weeks with the remaining 250 over last 2 days.
