Fade. The sequel to the bestselling novel Wake by Lisa McMann reveals us the side effects of beeing a dream catcher. The story of Janie and Cabel picks up just a few weeks after where we were left off in Wake. Janie and Cabel are assigned to work on a new case and uncover the identity of one of their teachers who apperantly seems to use his female students as sex victims. Janie needs to dip into a wave of nightmares once again to get some clues.

This book had a lot of sweet moments between Cabel and Janie and was also more suspenseful and moves a bit quicker than the Wake. Cabel and Janie find themselves working together on a case for school while also working through their relationship. The case is one that is a bit of shocker as they're trying to find a teacher who pries on students and the some things happen in the party scene may be a bit much for some readers. It's not too graphic, but the content is there.

FADE was fantastic!
I couldn't put it down until I'd turned the last page.
I love the storytelling, love the premise, love the characters.
