I can't say enough about this book, It's just so GOOD! I'm completely falling in love with the series. Being the second book, it just picks up where it lefts off in the first book. I feel that there is a lot more drama going on in this book than in the first one. There is a lot more going on with Meghan in this book, that she really has to make a choice of whether to be with Ash or Robin. I will definitely be confused as well if I was her. I mean, they are both great and mischievous, that it mak ...more

Good ideas and world-building—I really like the series' take so far on the Summer/Winter courts (a classic, but also a must-have) with the addition of a potential third court—because the Iron fey definitely have that potential, and while their existence the whole balance in jeopardy, they also open up a realm of new possibilities.

The characters, on the other hand... I found Meghan somewhat bland in the first book, here she was annoying on top of it. I don't know where that love thing with Ash sp

This book made the first one seem boring. This one was action-packed and on the edge of your seat good right from the very first page. It was well written, the characters are so well developed that you can feel their emotions with them. I love how Julie has brought the Midsummer's Nights Dream characters to life in such real and beautifully done ways.

The plot was great. Meghan Chase, half human and half summer faery princess is trapped in Tir Na Nog, the Winter Court because of a contract she m

Struggled whether this was a 3.5 or 4 star book. I liked it and all my favorite characters were back. I just don't feel the heat between Meghan and Ash.

Likes:
* Grimalkin - awesome as expected
* Ash - a little colder than expected, but understandably
* Sage - had potential for being likeable

This, the second book held me tighter and had me turning pages quicker than the previous. It could be due to the fact that I'm invested in the characters after spending so much time with them in the first book. But I think it is also because this one had more tension both in the story and between the characters.

I can't wait to read the next.
