Shelves: read-2014

I had heard so much about this book before reading but didn't really know what to expect. I thought it would be a light happy romantic read. Was I wrong. I didn't expect the emotional impact this story had.
So much is going on. From the story of Kacey after the accident and how that has affected her life. She bears so many scars from that night, both physical and otherwise. I put this book off for a long time, I don't know why but I did. My friend Trish kept pushing me to read it so finally did. Kasey wow she had been through hell and back, but at the beginning I thought she was really a bit of a bitch. Livie was the complete opposite which in its self has its own issues. I liked Trent right from the start but I knew he was running from something. Storm, Mia, Nate, Ben and Cain were all great characters and I can't wait to read their stories. (view spoiler) ...more

A fun read with real characters that grow as the book progresses. By the time I reached the half way point, I didn't want to put the book down! I like that this book has a strong message about how important it is to deal with your emotional issues rather than let them build up until you snap.

Ten Tiny Breaths had everything I like in a book: a healthy dose of romantic tension and mystery but also amusing and heartfelt interactions between all the characters.
