If I wasn't reading this for a Book Club meeting I would have put it down and not finished it after reading the first few chapters.
Republic of Gilead... Handmaids... Aunts... Commanders... Eyes... Mayday... the Wall... Guardians... Women's Salvagings and the list goes on. Too dystopian for me.
No feelings for any of the characters. No closure. The story skips from past to present and back again and again and again. Reminiscent to me of an adult version of The Giver by Lois Lowry which I thoroughl ...more
