After reading this one and A Gentleman in Moscow, I think I have a new favourite author!
Set in a 12month period in mid 1930s New York City, with bright 20-something, bright, young people. The central character Kate Kontent , a lover of reading, shines particularly brightly.
Completely captivating with a gentle wit, loved this to bits.
Hope Amor Towle gives us more terrific bits of his work very soon.
