Well, color me shocked I actually really enjoyed this super hyped up book! It’s taken me all evening to decide on my rating but genuinely I can’t find anything I’d really change about this. A lovely & tragic story about discovering what & who are truly important. Would recommend the audio book!

I wonder if I would have enjoyed this more had I not listened to the audiobook. The reader for Evelyn was nearly unbearable. I may revisit a print copy in the future to see if it changes my experience.

What a truly stunning and heartbreaking piece of literature.
There are very few books that I know will stay with me forever - this is one of them.
The way the story artfully flips between the two narratives, giving you more answers
to the subtle mysteries along the way makes this book so deeply readable and enjoyable. I also am in awe of how much I enjoyed this book even though it is gut-wrenching, and I cried throughout the book. I'd strongly recommend this book to everyone, with one caveat: be ...more
