What Members Thought
Sadly, this just didn't hit the mark with me. I was hoping for and expecting it to: set in 1930s Mexico on Dia de los Muertos! Also on several "Top 100 Books of All Time" lists! What could go wrong? I was especially hoping for some details of Mexican religious folkways, some memory of the sights and smells of Mexico, being as that I've been visiting there for weeks at a time for the past several winters, but couldn't this year.
