Divergent is a hugely popular YA dystopian series. If you have read it, you really need to! I read books one and two back to back in 2012 (I think, or was it early 2013?). I immediately went online and pre-ordered book three, Allegiant, and like thousands of readers out there, I counted down the days to its release date last fall. Immediately after the publication date, reviews started coming in and surprisingly not all of them were positive.

Honestly? I liked the end. I think it's a peaceful end. Of course tears came up but it was not as bad as I expected it. This book series is really different from other Dystopian series because of the great story, the characters and the setting. The end is unconventional but nevertheless it fits well. Actually, 3.5 stars. I had read a lot of negative reviews about this third book in the Divergent trilogy, that people were disappointed in the ending. I wasn't disappointed with the ending, in fact, I thought it was a good ending. I liked the book, as much as Insurgent. I will always think that Divergent was the best of the trilogy.
The premise for this series was intriguing and unique. I thought this series was better than the Hunger Games series. ...more

Seriously I read all three for such a dismal third book? I barely made it through this thing what happened? The first two were not the best books some drone part repeating parts but, not as bad as some. This last book was just plain bad.
