Another awesome one by Dahl!!
I read this is grade five, decided to re-read it after my nephews told me how much he enjoyed the book. I agree, a wonderful story of a smart little girl, with awful parents, a nice teacher and a horrible principle!
I think this one is one of my favorites by Dahl, highly recommend it to others.

Matilda’s parents are mean, really mean to Matilda. And Matilda is brilliant, amazingly brilliant.
Somehow, despite this, it is a funny book. You never feel sorry for Matilda and you know everything is going to come out okay in the end.
