A bit different from the previous books in this series. Not as much symbolism puzzles treasure hunt stuff, really more just sci-fi thriller style running around chasing and being chased story, kind of like Robin Cook or John Grisham works. An enjoyable read, but I did like Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code better than The Lost Symbol and this one. ...more

Great book! Wow! Again you learn so much, interessting and also scary things. The story was unforeseeable and the plot twist were almost shocking! I'm not sure if I like the end but all in all it is a fantastic book! :) ...more

I don't know why I continue to read these books. I don't really like them. Maybe it's my compulsivity to finish a series once I've started it? Inferno wasn't horrible but it wasn't as exciting a read as The Da Vinci Code either. As with his other books, Dan Brown seems to have jumped up on his own personal soapbox, although this time, instead of attacking the church, he is preaching about population growth.

Brown (or his assistants) have obviously done quite a bit of research for this book. I enj

Raise your hand if you're usually the type to read the book before you watch the movie! *raises hand*

All jokes aside, Inferno was an interesting read despite my having just watched the movie a few weeks prior to reading the book for the first time. Though most of the characters matched up to a T, there were enough dramatic changes (including that ending!) between the novel and the movie to keep me on my toes, resulting in an entirely different reading experience.

I would recommend for all my hist

I don't know if I really love this book as much as Brown's other books featuring Robert Langdon but I certainly enjoyed reading it. The thing with Brown is that you start believing that you know what the plot is about but then in a flash, Brown turns a different direction and you struggle to understand the very basic concept of it all. Although sometimes seeming as a plainer, the book turned out to be a total delight with many surprises, extraordinarily constructed intricate plot. Although there ...more

Robert Langdon wakes up in a hospital in Florence Italy unable to recall the last 48 hours and unsure of why he is in Italy. When an attack occurs on him in the hospital doctor Sienna Brooks helps save Langdon and they soon realize that Langdon was searching for a deadly virus that is hidden by clues connected to dante's Divine Comedy. This is a typical dan Brown book with lots of action and art history and a plot that is somewhat unbelievable. I found the book more fund than the last Lagdon nov ...more

“The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis.”
Really sterilizing or killing almost 7 billion people? Langdon does it again. More grandiose in the first part than usual. Mr. Brown does seem love the cities where he sends Langdon. I felt like I was reading a tourism book part of the time.

Overall it was a good read with style and the many epiphany's that Langdon has.
