What Members Thought
An enjoyable read. A nice variation from the usual themes and characters found in urban fantasy. I really liked the Celtic mythology aspects of it and the characters are a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series.

A half-Cherokee police officer whose job is working as a mechanic discovers she has shamanic powers. That's basically it- with a fast-paced plot and quite a bit of soul-searching about her identity. Bonus: no vampires!

I picked this one up for an online book club, and it's one of the rare choices that fell flat. The urban fantasy premise had potential, but the writing felt lazy and ham-handed.
